Squirt's Better Than Big Brother

THE hottest product in APT's computer stores throughout the State last month was the new Canon portable BJC-70 Squirt printer.

It's designed as a four-colour bubble jet printer but, with a simple change of ink cartridge, converts to a speedy black and white printer.

APT boss Graham Harman says the Squirt is better than its big brother, the BJC-4000 colour printer. It also boasts high-speed colour printing, improved operating economy, better resolution graphics and richer inks that are water and fade resistant.

Weighing in at about 1.4kg, this little printer is no desk hog either: fold this page in half and that's bigger than the printer's "footprint".

The RRP is $645 but you should be able to pick one up for less than $600.
